About Me
It is my dharma (duty) and blessing in life to be in support of those whose healing journey leads them to Ayurveda as a path to health and wellness, inner peace, and sustained happiness. Having always been my natural way to be present for others when their suffering was overwhelming, discovering Ayurvedic Medicine was divine handiwork that led to inspire and fuel my passion for ancient wisdom, healing, herbs, the natural world, and service to humankind.
Beginning to walk my path to Truth early in life enabled me to adapt to some of life's humbling hard lessons. I have worked intentionally to gain clarity and reasoning, and have used the yogic sciences to aid my resolve and respite. It's because of the truth of my own healing journey that I use the Ayurvedic treatments I offer specifically to help people manage the vitality of their body while they care for themselves on their own journey to health and wellness. I consider the ability to offer to others what has helped me as a blessing, an honor, and imperative to my life path.
Beyond my Ayurvedic practice and the crafting of herbal remedies, I am deeply committed to the study of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology). Following the lineage of Sri Achutyanda Das of Orissa under the guidance of Freedom Cole since 2016. I offer Vedic readings to provide clarity on life paths and to help navigate hardships with greater ease.
My personal sadhana is rooted in the Vedic and Tantric sciences, Vedanta, and with a profound reverence for the transformative power of Kundalini and Kriya Yoga. My most beloved form of Bhakti is Mantra Shastra and the continual study of Sabda in this dimension.
I am also a dedicated Aikidoka, having trained under Cecilia Ramos Sensei since 2006. When I’m not in the clinic or the dojo, I find joy in art, music, and friendships. An avid rockhound, I love exploring the natural beauty of California in search of gems and minerals—a passion that keeps me connected to Mother Earth. I carry this environmental devotion into my work with Planet Refills, a small refill shop in Nevada City dedicated to protecting our planet.
